We are thrilled to celebrate Suzi as our January Volunteer of the Month! Since joining Girls on the Run in 2019, Suzi has embodied everything we hope for in a volunteer - dedication, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to empowering young girls.

As a chiropractor and avid runner, Dr. Joanna Consiglio understands the profound connection between physical movement and mental well-being, which brought her to Girls on the Run in 2021. We’ve been fortunate to have her energy and expertise ever since.

Sometimes the best leaders emerge not from ambition, but from necessity—and love. This is exactly what happened when community member Kathleen Quinn saw a program that had meant so much to local families disappear, just as her own daughter was approaching the age to participate. She stepped up in a big way earlier this year and continues to serve her community this fall.
